5 Main styles of carriers:
-Woven and stretchy wraps: one long piece of fabric that can be tied and worn in multiple ways.
-Mei Tai: Asian-inspired fabric wrap with a body panel, shoulder straps and waist straps. Straps are tied in front or back. No buckles.
-Ring Sling: one panel of fabric with double rings at one end. Worn over one shoulder.
-Soft-Structured Carriers (SSCs): Often referred to as buckle carriers. These have a padded hip belt that buckles and shoulder straps that buckle as well.
-Hybrid carriers: any carrier that takes features from other styles and meshes them together. Example: Pikkolo.
